Glorious Galloway were very pleased to welcome our Prize Winners (above) Mr & Mrs Williams from Bromborough, Wirral, Cheshire seen here being presented with a food & drink hamper donated by local producers from the area. The presentation was made by Brain Haining the Chairman and Steve Groome project manager of our consortium. During the 3 day stay Barbara and Mike visited many of our "MUST SEE" destinations and also experienced some great moments including watching Otters at the waters edge while at Loch Trool in Galloway Forest Park. They were here in early October and were spellbound by the colours of the scenery and by the light which Barbara said "was so clean and clear ideal for painting or photography". We thank Mike and Barbara for entering the competition and we look forward to seeing them again soon, Thier final comment as they were leaving for the drive home :- "We will back soon with our friends from the Wirral area."
