Tolbooth Art Centre

THE TOLBOOTH ART CENTRE provides visitors with an introduction to the story of the town's artists' colony.
The story of the Kirkcudbright artists is told through a 15 minute audio-visual show. But art is very much a continuing tradition in Kirkcudbright and the Stewartry as a whole, and throughout the season the studios on the upper floor are used by the current generation of artists and craftworkers, who welcome visitors to watch them at work.

Current exhibition: "Naturally Inspired" by Barbara Maddox. Exhibition runs from February 12 to 23, 2008. Open Monday to Saturday 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.
